Getting to know Kambui Abdullah
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Master's Level Assessment Specialist, holding a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Martin University. I am a person, like you, who has lived real-life experiences that have impacted me in various ways, on multiple levels. This allows me to be easily relatable and listen without judgment. Nothing I hear will surprise me or diminish the unconditional respect and positive regard deserving of all people.
I have worked as a home-based therapist, school therapist, and in hospital and private outpatient settings during the course of my years of practice. I will not have any in-person appointments, with possible exceptions in the case of crisis.

As a client, you can expect to take away a definite sense of being heard, seen, validated and treated with respect. To be exposed to new ways of thinking and responding to internal and external experiences. How to better challenge and manage stressors and other areas of your life that have historically been sources of pain, confusion or discomfort. To identify inner strengths or develop new ones by capitalizing on areas and opportunities for growth.
My clients will walk away having discovered and unlocked the truly transformative power they possess within to reach their stated treatment goals and improve the quality of their lives and overall mental health.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
