Are you feeling overwhelmed by daily obligations? Do you find yourself having difficulty focusing? Maybe you find yourself thinking you’re not good enough or feeling like an imposter. I know exactly what you’re feeling: the sense that things are out of your control, the tension in your body, the worry that you can’t possibly get everything done without disappointing others—and you want relief now. Anxiety can be debilitating, and I don’t want you to suffer any longer. Reframing thinking patterns can significantly reduce anxiety, and I look forward to teaching you strategies that will help you reclaim your life. We’ll start by untangling your thoughts and feelings so you can gain clarity. By practicing acceptance, you can focus on taking actionable steps toward goals that align with your values. You’ll develop effective coping strategies and build resilience, enabling you to better manage stress no matter what comes your way. Life brings many challenges, so your feelings are valid. I will actively listen to your needs and create a safe, supportive environment where you can freely share your concerns. I am here to provide guidance, support, and accountability. I earned my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Florida State University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively. I hope to meet with you soon so we can work together to place you on the path toward mental wellness.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I facilitate a safe, non-judgmental, empathetic, and compassionate environment for each client. I want you to feel you can freely express yourself and process any current challenges without fear of judgment. Initially I will gather information regarding your reason for starting therapy as well as your goals and expectations. I believe developing a healthy therapeutic relationship is a crucial piece of therapeutic success. The goal is to enable you to use your inner resources to tackle life’s challenges which could help build resilience and overall, a greater sense of well-being. This can include developing healthy ways to cope with stress, regulating emotions, improving relationships with others, establishing boundaries, as well as stress management and distress tolerance.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
