Hello, and thank you for viewing my profile! I am a licensed mental health counselor in Florida and a registered art therapist. I graduated from Drexel University with a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and Art Therapy. I have experience working with and specialize in substance abuse disorders, trauma, PTSD, mood disorders, co-dependency, relationship issues, and childhood trauma.
I am a strengths-based and solution-focused therapist who prioritizes identifying and meeting your goals through self-exploration of personal strengths. Together, we will uncover your strengths and positive coping skills, using these resources to navigate difficult challenges and create meaningful change. I also combine CBT practices with neuro-counseling by integrating neuroscience psycho-education to help clients understand the neurological basis of many mental and behavioral health concerns. Additionally, I incorporate a creative approach using art therapy and other experiential therapies that engage the whole mind, fostering deeper connections and insights into present challenges.
