Typically children are this way naturally and as they grow older, they start to lose that. I want to work with children and adults to show them the world through a new lense, one which helps them see life as beautiful and attainable. A life for them. I have worked with children who have severe attachment issues, adjustment issues, and impulse control issues. I have worked with adults in an academic setting. In both roles, I served as an educator, sharing the knowledge I have gained with others who may not have had the same opportunities in life as me. Play as a child can create a sense of safety and belonging. Channeling yourself into something you are making can be rewarding. Working with your hands can be satisfying and soothing. My goal is to offer a space where play is the focus. We will work together through playful tools in order to build a trusting relationship.
