**Treats clients aged 5-25** I have worked in the mental health field for twenty five years proviidng therapeutic support and psychoeducation to youth and families. I have a passion for working with adolecents and have worked with youth that present with significant mood dysregulation, depression, anger and self harm. A large part of my work experience has been with youth in child welfare. I have extensive knowledge and experience working with youth that have been abused, abanandoned and neglected and have trauma related experiences. My goal as a practitioner in the helping profession is to assist clients in finding their inner strengths and their voice to support their journey of self advocacy towards healing.

What should a new client know about working with you?

**Treats clients aged 5-25** I am an advocate for voice and choice when working with clients. I respect clients safe and healthy choices and offer a client centered approach so a clients voice is heard about their process. I utilize strength based interventions to support the client in feeling empowered. I utilize different approaches such as role play, solution focused therapy and CBT to reframe and challenge negative thought patterns to improve a clients feelings and decision making. I enjoy being creative and bringing different tools into the session to assist clients in having an experience that matches their goals as well as their hope for our work together .
