She is a licensed professional clinical counselor with a supervision designation. Dr. Byerly-Lamm serves as an adjunct professor in the Department of Psychology at Xavier University and is a member of the Ohio Psychological Association. Her experience spans working with children, adolescents, and adults in outpatient, inpatient, school-based, home-based, college student health, and medical settings. She provides individual and family therapy for adults aged 18 to 65+, specializing in anxiety, depression, stress-related issues, mental health concerns affecting those in college and other transitional life phases, grief, trauma, and mental health challenges related to chronic medical illness. Dr. Byerly-Lamm utilizes humanistic approaches, mindfulness, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). She treats patients starting at age 18.
