Psychotherapist

One thing we can be sure of is that we will go through changes. I offer you my education and experience to help you and your child through the changes you are going through in your life right now. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Religion and my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. I also hold an NC license in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I raised four children who are all married, have children, and are employed. However, pretty as this all sounds on paper, the reality was much starker. I believe the trials I have suffered and the blessings I have enjoyed provide more knowledge and understanding when it comes to helping others as they go through the ups and downs of life. I provide a safe place for you and your child to be honest without judgment and heard without disdain. I am here to challenge and help you and your child increase your strengths, develop good skills, and use both to cope with your struggles. Counseling can be fun, but it can also be painful. “I look to my left and right to see if there is anyone who will help, but there’s no one who takes notice of me. I have no hope of escape, and no one cares whether I live or die.” (Psalms 142:4) How many times have you felt alone, hopeless, wondering if anyone can see your pain? Wanting someone to see your pain and reach out to help you. I see you!
