Dr. Karen Eisenmenger, PhD

Psychotherapist
KY
Hello! I'm Karen, and I love working with a diverse group of clients to help them tackle difficult times in life and grow from their experiences. I believe that therapy should be a comfortable and safe space where you can openly discuss personal issues, such as trauma, without fear of judgment. My approach is client-centered, focusing on creating a supportive environment that fosters healing and growth. I hold a PhD and am a certified Health Service Professional in Psychology. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with many veterans and civilians dealing with PTSD and childhood trauma. My experience extends to helping individuals with anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, OCD, psychosis, schizophrenia, and those navigating life transitions, intimate relationships, and grief. I am also passionate about providing support to the LGBTQIA+ community and those exploring spirituality. One of the unique aspects of my practice is offering video therapy, which allows me to reach clients who live in more rural areas and may not have easy access to in-person sessions. This flexibility ensures that more people can benefit from therapy, regardless of their location. When you work with me, you can expect a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where we can explore your thoughts and feelings together. My goal is to help you create the life and relationships you desire, providing you with the tools and support you need to navigate life's challenges. I look forward to meeting you and embarking on this journey together. Let's work towards a brighter, more fulfilling future. I hope to hear from you soon!
