Getting to know Karen Hull

Hi there, I'm Karen Hull (difficult name to have these days). I currently hold an LCSW license in both Utah and Idaho. I look at both my personal and professional life through a humanistic approach, believing we are whole and have everything innately necessary to create full, successful lives. I am certified in hypnotherapy, EMDR, and the application of neuroscience to treat various emotional needs. My approach I use an eclectic therapeutic style, believing the situation and relationship dictate treatment needs. My focus I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Utah State University, including a Master's in Social Work. I've been in practice since 2008. During that time, I've worked with clients of all ages-individuals, couples, families, and in group settings. I'm up for working with clients looking to make positive changes. My communication style I believe relationship is key to the therapeutic process. It's a reciprocal situation. As a therapist, I want to create an open, trusting space where the client feels heard, respected, and valued. My journey to mental healthcare During my college years, I worked in organic biochemistry and became aware of the parallels between quantum physics and the human experience. I noticed that, at its essence, all is vibrational, and change can be accomplished organically through the energy fields of the mind and body. I love my profession and can't imagine doing anything else. My goals for you I love interacting with clients, helping identify their unique avenue for change, and aiding in the change process. My first session with you First meetings can be difficult and intimidating on both sides. I do my best to make them as comfortable and useful as possible.
