I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida with over 20 years of experience. I earned my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Florida. I have training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). I am open to working with my clients using the tools and methods they find most useful. I enjoy collaborating with my clients to help them find solutions to challenges, improve their well-being, and support them in their journey.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Karen's approach just works for me. She listens without judgement and allows the session to flow naturally. I appreciate that she uses analogies and metaphors to help me understand my often challenging situations.
Having a great experience with Karen so far! She is affirming and encouraging but also challenges me and supports my growth as an individual. She shows a lot of care for my needs as a client and is very professional while still being genuine and warm. I look forward to continuing to work with her :3
