Kari Fedewa, MSW

Psychotherapist
MI
I work with young adults and adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or weighed down by life’s challenges. Many of my clients struggle with depression, anxiety, chronic pain, stress, or difficult transitions such as ruptured relationships, parenthood, perimenopause, or grief. They often come to me looking for support, hope, motivation, and ways to feel more grounded and purposeful in daily life. It's important to me to create a safe, non-judgmental space for you to feel deeply heard and supported, while also being gently encouraged to grow. While my approach to your care is personalized and collaborative, I draw from evidence-based methods like Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), DBT, CBT, ACT, and mindfulness to help you build tools you can actually use beyond our sessions. I bring not only knowledge, but also humility and lived experience to this work. My goal is always to co-create a space where you will feel safe, respected, and empowered. Together, we’ll focus on managing distress, learning about emotions, building resilience, and reconnecting with what matters most to you whether that’s enjoying your relationships, finding balance, or reclaiming joy.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
