Hello, I'm Karin. I believe that everyone can benefit from the therapeutic process, and I want you to think of me as a qualified confidant with whom you can share and grow. Together, we will create achievable goals to magnify your life's meaning and purpose. I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2014 with a Master's degree in Social Work. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I have extensive experience in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance use, grief, and loss. Most of my work has been with adolescents and young adults, a life phase I find full of unlimited potential. In our sessions, I use a variety of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, to assist you through life's transitions. Building rapport and creating a trusting relationship are priorities of mine. It's important to me that you feel empowered throughout the therapeutic process. I am here to support you, whether you're dealing with addiction, anger management, family relationships, intimate/romantic relationships, life transitions, stress, suicidal ideation, or trauma.
