Welcome and thank you for visiting my profile! I am a fully Licensed Professional Counselor with approximately 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I hold a Master's degree in Community Counseling from the University of Texas, San Antonio, and a Bachelor's degree from Our Lady of the Lake University. I specialize in teaching my clients how to manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, substance dependence, mania, psychosis, trauma, stress, and grief. I also have experience with clients who wish to explore and resolve their gender identity, and I proudly provide gender-affirming care for the LGBTQIA+ community. I take a holistic, person-centered approach while utilizing my clinical judgment, rapport, and insight to help guide you toward your goals. I am trained in and utilize Adlerian therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Heart Rate Variability (Biofeedback), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, and Nurturing Parenting. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
