“Karla has helped me in too many ways to even begin to describe. She has helped me heal in ways I didn't know was possible. I have grown so much. My life has more joy since I started doing the work with her over two years ago. I am so thankful to be able to have her as a therapist!”

“I began working with Karla a couple months ago and really like her. I've been in and out of therapy for my whole life and it's extremely difficult to find a therapist that you feel comfortable with and a connection to. Karla is authentic, a great listener, and supportive. I've enjoyed our sessions very much so far and looking forward to continuing to work with her.”

Getting to know Karla Roberts

Hello! I am a licensed counselor with over 15 years of experience specializing in depression, anxiety, trauma, attachment-based relationships, and addictions. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Florida, Gainesville. My approach to therapy is open and supportive, with the belief that we are in it together-I will meet you where you are as a supportive member of your team. Working through our issues in therapy is not easy but completely worth it to feel better and improve the quality of our lives. Yes, you can do it, and you don't have to do it alone. I draw from my extensive background working with adults and teens through crisis, inpatient settings, pre- and postpartum care, families, couples, and substance rehab. I have training and certifications in CBT, DBT, EMDR, expressive art therapy, and I am working towards certification in IFS (if that's enough acronyms to list) :) You have taken the first important step in finding a therapist-well done! Please contact me so we can take the next steps in creating a healthier and more fulfilled version of you!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
