Hi there. My name is Karman, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas. I earned my Master's in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. I work with children (ages 11 and up), teens, and adults of all backgrounds and orientations. I have extensive experience working with teens and families in the school setting as a Crisis Intervention Counselor. I help clients with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress management, relational issues, and adjustment/life transitions. I am committed to partnering with you to help you navigate life's challenges.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My goal as your therapist is to create a safe space where you feel seen and heard. I believe in meeting you where you are and working together to help you gain insight into your current and past experiences, thoughts, and feelings. I strive to create a non-judgmental space to empower you to find strength and resilience within yourself to create the change and healing you are searching for.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
