What should a new client know about working with you?

In 2015, I earned a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and have been working in the profession for almost a decade. I currently hold the vocation of a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and work with individuals, couples, and families to help manage their experiences with depression, anxiety, PTSD, chemical dependency, self-esteem issues, and relationship conflict. Prior to professional practice, I was privileged to serve in counseling under the clergy canopy for over a decade.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My focus is working with individuals, using cognitive behavioral therapy to motivate my clients to view their lives from a healthier, whole perspective. As your choice for a therapist, I will be indebted and committed to providing you with the highest level of care I am capable of rendering. Although my foundational therapeutic stance is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I am open to accessing any and all other evidence-based restorative and spiritual interventions that will prove to be beneficial to your mental health and well-being. Recognizing that no two people are alike, I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Life can be challenging for all of us, and therapy is a unique way to assist when we are ready to write the next chapter of our life story. If you feel ready to take that step, I am here to support you on your journey.
