What should a new client know about working with you?

A new client can expect therapy with me to feel warm, collaborative, and thoughtful. I aim to create a space where you can speak openly, slow things down, and better understand the patterns, experiences, and relationships that may be influencing how you feel. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Our work is shaped around your individual needs, goals, and pace, while also offering practical, evidence-based support when helpful. Together, we may explore both what is happening in the present and the deeper patterns that continue to show up over time. My hope is that therapy feels both supportive and meaningful—a place where you can gain greater self-awareness, feel more connected to yourself, and make changes that feel aligned with how you want to live, relate, and move forward.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process begins with getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and identifying the goals you would like to work toward. Early sessions focus on developing a fuller picture of your experiences, relationships, patterns, and current stressors so that our work feels thoughtful and individualized. From there, we work collaboratively to explore the patterns that may be contributing to distress while also identifying practical ways to support meaningful change. Depending on your needs, sessions may include reflection, skill-building, identifying unhelpful thought or relationship patterns, and exploring how past experiences may be influencing the present. Throughout the process, we regularly check in on what is feeling helpful, what may need to shift, and how therapy can continue to support your goals. My approach is flexible and tailored to you, with the aim of helping you develop greater insight, confidence, and clarity over time.
