Karre Winge, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CO
I began my career in addictions as a substance abuse counselor before becoming a therapist. I have 19 years of experience working with the Native American population. I also work with First Responders and their families. I am on a crisis team providing support to those who serve during critical incidents and facilitate retreats where the focus is on trauma, self-care, and how to shift to home after being hypervigilant at work. I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Dialetical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). My undergraduate and graduate degrees are from California Baptist University. I work with adolescents, adults, and couples while meeting the clients where they are. Some areas I address are adjustment issues, anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, and many other complications we face at different times in our lives My approach is warm and inviting guided by trauma informed care. I am sensitive to cultural issues and welcome learning from others while being a witness to change.
