Kate Koslowsky, LCSW

Psychotherapist
2000 N. Racine, Chicago, IL
Many of the people I work with are women in their 20s and 30s navigating relationships, pregnancy, or major life decisions. On the outside, life may look stable, with a career, relationships, and plans for the future, but inside things can feel uncertain or overwhelming. I have advanced training in perinatal mental health and often work with first-time parents and women thinking about starting a family. I also help with anxiety and relationship concerns, using a warm, insight-oriented, relational approach to help you feel more grounded, clear, and like yourself again. My style is insight-oriented and relational, drawing from psychodynamic, emotionally focused, and narrative therapy. Together we explore past and present relationships and develop the self-understanding needed for lasting change. I aim to create a thoughtful, collaborative space while gently challenging the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Finding a therapist who feels like a good fit can take time, and that’s okay. I offer a complimentary phone consultation so you can ask questions, get a sense of my style, and see whether working together feels comfortable and like the right match.
