Hello, I am so glad you have made it here. My name is Kate Nelson-Dooley, and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of South Florida. I have over 15 years of experience providing mental health services to children, families, and older individuals. Recently, I transitioned my practice to a virtual platform so you can receive quality mental health treatment conveniently and in the privacy of your home. I am a person-centered clinician; you and your family will be the focus of our time together. I use playful and creative techniques during our sessions so it won’t just be talk therapy—unless that is what you desire. I incorporate supportive psychotherapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Psychotherapy techniques in our work. I support individuals with ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, PTSD, Dementia, and Mood Disorders.
