I grew up immersed in a vibrant and diverse community, which has influenced my approach to therapy. It also instilled in me the importance of listening-really listening-to the stories people share. We tell stories to process pain, and the best way to process is to have a good listener.

What should a new client know about working with you?
My main clientele are individuals who have experienced life-altering trauma, are navigating the challenges of neurodivergence, and who are trying to build an overall healthier lifestyle for themselves. I also have experience working with poetry-for-healing and feel pulled towards working with poetic individuals.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
There is a quote by Stephen Shore about autism that says, “If you've met one individual with autism, you've met one individual with autism”, and that is how I approach therapy. I believe that we are all unique individuals and that this is something that should be celebrated. I treat each of my clients as an individual, providing them with empathy and a genuine interest in their life, their story, and their healing.
