Perhaps you're a healthcare provider (or any woman) giving so much to others that there’s nothing left for yourself. Or maybe you're navigating PCOS, thyroid issues, chronic illness or just feeling "over it" all, and you’re starting to wonder if this constant exhaustion and frustration is your reality...forever. I'm Kate, and I help women like you—women who are smart, compassionate, and deeply tired—find their way back to themselves. Whether or not you believe it right now, you deserve to be IN your life - not on the outside of it.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I offer therapy that’s somatic, trauma-informed, radically affirming, humor filled and sex positive. While I don't have any "fairy dust" in my pocket, I will happily walk beside you while you rediscover yours. This is a space where you don’t have to perform wellness and you don’t have to walk alone. I have gotten feedback, both professionally and personally, that I am a warm and effervescent human who can support you while you're crying and embrace your laughter - all in the same hour! I also always want to tell people that therapy doesn't have to be a years-long commitment. As so many of my Clients have told me at the end of our time together, "it's amazing how much can change in 90 days!"

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During our initial sessions, we will do some deep work discerning what YOUR priorities are at this time and developing a plan to help you start living into your values more. We have so many paths to take once we know each other a bit. Common issues I work on with clients are boundaries, daily ritual creation and trauma reprocessing to help you live a more vibrant life. I have advanced training in EMDR, ACT, CBT, and am in the process of becoming an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist. Outside of all the letters and trainings, I have a Master of Divinity from Yale University and am able to dive deep with Clients on everything spirituality and existential as well - if that's where you would like to go. Consent is baked into everything I offer as a Therapist - we work together to figure out a pace your nervous system and heart can tolerate at every step of the way.
