I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Law & Society from Purdue University. My first job after graduation was at a counseling center working with children and adolescents, where I discovered that this field was my true calling. I then worked in addictions while beginning graduate school. In 2004, I graduated with a Master's Degree in Social Work from Indiana University Indianapolis and later earned my LCSW to practice independently in the State of Indiana. For over half of my career, I worked in a specialty clinic treating clients affected by Serious Mental Illness (SMI) and PTSD. I later expanded my practice to address a broader range of mental health issues, using evidence-based treatments effective for trauma, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and insomnia. Now in private practice, I focus on helping adults affected by trauma, anxiety, depression, and insomnia. I entered this field to help others learn tools to improve their mental health, enhance life functioning, strengthen interpersonal relationships, and maintain lasting progress.
