Hi there, I'm Katherine! I'm excited you're here! Therapy can be both a challenging and rewarding journey, and I would be honored to help you navigate it. I enjoy supporting my clients in working through a variety of issues such as trauma, anger, anxiety, depression, parenting issues, attachment, and interpersonal difficulties, among others. Together, we'll create a road map of what you want to address in therapy. From there, I will provide a person-centered approach and safe space with the intention of supporting you in the most rewarding work you can do: healing and caring for yourself. I would love to connect with you further. Please reach out when you're ready to take the next step! My approach In our therapeutic relationship, I view myself as the expert on therapy, and I consider you to be the expert on yourself. We both have a lot to contribute, and I like when sessions feel like a collaborative partnership, working together to identify the best options. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to help you identify underlying beliefs or thinking patterns and teach you skills to cope or reshape your beliefs. I utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to provide you with resources and skills to practice mindfulness, emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance. For families, I utilize Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) to help mend and strengthen the attachment between a child and a caregiver. I adjust my approach to best fit your needs. My hope is to empower you to rely on your strengths to manage arising problems, one step at a time. Together, we'll identify the steps that will help you work toward your goals. My focus I enjoy working with a wide array of clients. I work with individuals aged 12 years or older, couples, and families.
