Getting to know Katherine (Eden) Tapper

Hi, I’m Eden, and I’m really glad you’re here. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply looking for more ease and meaning in your life or relationships, you don’t have to do it alone. I work with individuals and families navigating anxiety, life transitions, school and career pressure, grief, ADHD, and emotional burnout. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in helping you feel seen, supported, and empowered. I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist with additional training in somatic therapy, Gestalt, dreamwork, and creative modalities. I also bring experience as a certified yoga teacher, integrating breath and body awareness. Whether we’re processing trauma or working toward clarity and purpose, I’ll meet you with compassion, insight, and care. My goal is to create a safe space where you can slow down, feel, and heal at your own pace. If you’re ready to begin, I’d love to meet you and support you on your path forward.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients often tell me they feel deeply seen and supported in our work together. I bring warmth, humor, and a grounded presence to therapy, meeting you where you are without judgment. I value your wisdom and strengths—even when you might not feel them—and work collaboratively to help you feel more connected to yourself and others. I weave together traditional talk therapy with body-based tools, creativity, and insight to support lasting healing. You don’t need to prepare anything—just come as you are.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first sessions, I focus on building a strong, trusting connection. I’ll invite you to share what’s been on your heart and what brought you to therapy, and we’ll explore your goals together. I’ll also ask about your past experiences and strengths so I can understand the full picture of who you are—not just what’s hard right now. From there, our work is collaborative and tailored to you. I draw from somatic therapy, Gestalt, dreamwork, and mindfulness-based practices to help you process emotions, gain clarity, and reconnect with your sense of meaning and inner strength. Whether you’re navigating a specific challenge or seeking deeper healing, we’ll move at a pace that feels safe and supportive.
