What should a new client know about working with you?

My hope is when I first meet you, to create a safe and nonjudgmental space to help you to verbalize your thoughts and emotions freely. As well, I want to help you bring insight to your thoughts and emotions that you might be unaware of. And I do so in a compassionate and collaborative way for you to be able to explore your purpose in life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Depending on why you are coming for therapy, I will tailor my treatment method towards what you want to work on to move you in the direction of your goals or healing process. If it is couples therapy, we might use the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused therapy for Couples. If you are seeking help for any form of trauma in your life (divorce, grief, election results, end of a relationship, violence against you or someone you know, sexual assault, childhood trauma, loss of a job, one time event trauma, racial trauma, or homophobic/transgender trauma), we might use a combination of Somatic work, Person-Centered therapy, Internal Family Systems and Compassion-Focused therapy.
