Hello, my name is Katherine. After embarking on a personal journey of healing and self-discovery, I founded Awakened Counseling Services. My hope is to create a safe space where my clients can experience the same healing power of therapy that changed my life. I am passionate about working with adolescents and young adults and witnessing the incredible changes many clients experience through EMDR. From anxiety and depression to self-esteem and self-doubt, and supporting survivors of unhealthy or abusive relationships, you are in the right place. I personally know how difficult it can be to seek quality help and find someone, only to later realize they are unfit to support you. Finding someone who truly understands and can make a difference is not easy. Because I understand this firsthand, I have made it my life's passion to help my clients overcome these challenges. My educational background includes an Associate's and Bachelor's degree from Florida Gulf Coast University, and a Master's in School Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. My years of experience in both the educational system and mental health have prepared me to provide my clients with the results they deserve. This is what I want to offer you starting now. I am confident that together we will develop a healing plan for your life that you will be proud of.
