Katherine Miner, LCSW

Psychotherapist
TX
Hi! My name is Katherine, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Houston. I specialize in working with people who have experienced trauma. Trauma is complex; it's not always one clear event that we can point to and say, “See, this is the reason I feel and respond to the world around me in this way.” Trauma can impact every part of our everyday experiences, shaping how we see ourselves and the world around us, affecting relationships, careers, and our sense of self. I am comfortable meeting you where you are on your journey, and I will partner with you in finding the right tools to help you move forward. While we don't have the ability to change what has happened in the past, we can learn how to find pathways that lead us to healing and rebuilding who we are today.

What should a new client know about working with you?

One of the most valuable lessons I have learned while helping clients work through trauma is that just as no two people learn in the same way, no two people heal the same way. I offer a personalized, strengths-driven approach to care, and commit to partnering with you in finding the right tools for your unique journey towards healing and self discovery.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
