Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Katherine attended the University of Georgia, where she earned her bachelor's degree in psychology. Following a stint in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, she pursued her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Denver. Through her studies, Katherine sought a better understanding of the human experience by exploring how each individual story contributes to the greater cultural narrative.
Katherine specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, ADHD, and trauma. To do this, she draws from the most evidence-based practices to create a connection that is both grounded in research and cultivated in authenticity. She utilizes ACT, DBT, CBT, FBT (Family-Based Therapy), and EFFT.
Over the past years of her practice, Katherine has worked at the inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient levels of care. She has significant experience treating eating disorders, mood disorders, and ADHD in children, adolescents, and young adults. Katherine also has experience working with families and caregivers.
