In our first session together, here's what you can expect In our first session, we'll get to know each other a bit, and I'll gather some background information about your life and what's bringing you to therapy. I'll also share a little about how I function as a therapist and we'll talk about what you want from your therapy process. My therapeutic approach is warm, engaging, and collaborative, viewing you, the client, as the expert on your own life while I act as a guide providing insight and reflection. I emphasize equality in the therapeutic relationship, and my primary therapy modality is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), with flexible integration of other methods. I address a wide range of issues across all ages, aiming to identify specific challenges and provide tangible tools for growth, and offering virtual therapy with multi-state licensure in Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Utah.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
