She is also a long-standing member of the National Association of Social Workers and was the first Phi Theta Kappa scholarship recipient at Oglethorpe University. Kathy is currently employed by Tender Touch Counseling at Gainesville and Georgia Act ACT and Healthcare Services. Some of her previous experience includes serving as Director for Wilheit and Center Point Counseling, working as a staff therapist at Still Waters Counseling, and experience in the area of psychometrics. While serving as a director at Center Point, she developed the Power Team Program for adolescents, built the Healthy Relationships curriculum for adolescents, and created the Internship Residency model for university students completing their internship requirements during graduate school.
