Kathleen Summers, LPC

Psychotherapist
305 Quail Rdg Dr, Westmont, IL
For more than a decade, I built my career in the infertility field as a case manager for egg donation and surrogacy. A background in journalism has given me the platform for advocacy in reproductive, postpartum, and general mental health issues. Now, with two young children of my own, I have a profound respect for the journey that is motherhood. It is my most treasured role, and also the most challenging! I’m an avid reader, and writing is a passion - articles, blogs, journaling (a big part of my own mental health toolbox), truly anything that keeps the creativity flowing. While I love cozy movie and games nights with my family, we also love to travel and share new adventures together. I hold a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, as well as a BA in Journalism. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), a member of the American Counseling Association, and I look forward to completing my Perinatal Mental Health Certification.
