Getting to know Kathleen Walsh

Hi, friends call me Kate. I have been Board Certified for 20 years and bring a variety of work experiences to the table. I hold a Master's in Counseling from Pennsylvania Western University. I currently work two days a week at a hospital in Outpatient Behavioral Health. Are you going through a rough patch in your life? Sometimes when life gets tough, it helps to share that burden with someone else. Is it hard for you to balance work life and home life? Let's work together to create a way to better handle the stress that life presents. If you need tools to better cope with anxiety and depression, we can work on that. I've had lots of experience with parent coaching and enjoy helping families live a more positive life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

There are times when your feelings become intrusive and difficult to navigate. It can feel like they are taking over your life. Together we will untangle these emotions and feelings that appear with grief and loss in order to move forward to a calmer, happier place. We will work together and help you learn practical strategies to reduce distress, gain insight, build deeper and more authentic connections, and develop skills for living a more fulfilling and satisfying life.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
