Kathryn Bassett, LCSW

Kathryn Bassett, LCSW

Psychotherapist
WI
As a licensed clinical social worker with a Master’s in Clinical Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, I work to provide a safe and healing place for you to address your mental health. When I am not practicing therapy, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outside, attempting DIY projects, bingeing whatever show is up that week, and staying active. My approach I find it important to work from many different theoretical approaches and, most importantly, tailor those approaches to what works best for you, your diagnosis, and your goals. My focus With over a decade of experience helping people of all ages—from very young to older and wiser—I typically work with kids (ages 9/10–17), their parents, and young adults. My communication style I am an open and honest communicator, but I value building our therapeutic relationship first. So, our first, second, and third sessions will look very different than months or even weeks into therapy. I am client-centered and strengths-based. While it is therapy, I also like to have a little fun too. My first session with you A lot of information gathering, but you share only what you are comfortable sharing. Set your own pace for how open you are feeling, and I’ll follow your lead.
