Her approach to therapy is based on belief that each client has the capacity to be their “best self”, and she brings a direct, non-judgmental, and sensitive, approach to problem solving, balanced with humor and compassion. “I believe that my role is to walk with my clients along the path of a commitment to reaching the ultimate goal of living a life that is rich and meaningful.” Kate received her Master’s in Social Work from the State University of New York at Albany and was a recipient of the Hartford Partnership Program for Aging Education and the Internships in Aging Project award. She has worked in environments from a veterans’ home to a community care clinic, as well as in a college counseling center and in private practice.
