Welcome! I’m Kathryn (she/her), a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered yoga teacher (RYT-500). I am also EMDR-trained and hold a certificate in Narrative Focused Trauma Care through the Allender Center. I have worked in private practice and faith-based settings with individuals, adolescents, and couples. I enjoy working with attachment trauma, relationship issues, spiritual abuse, anxiety/depression, self-harm, and grief. I wholeheartedly believe in the power of counseling to bring healing and restoration, even though it can be a scary and heartbreaking process. I believe we have all been through painful life experiences that have led us to where we are now, and I have a passion for welcoming all parts of you and your story into our space together.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Typically I use an attachment-focused relational lens while incorporating somatic, mindfulness, and narrative practices to gain insight into the stories of harm your heart and body have endured. Through the use of EMDR, yoga, and story work, we can begin to understand, regulate, and put back together the fragmented parts of ourselves. You are not alone in this journey and you deserve to experience safe and attuned care as you heal. When I’m not at the office, I’m usually chilling with my dogs and husband, crossfitting, practicing yoga, sitting in the sun, or eating yummy food, especially Crumbl cookies.
