She completed Postpartum Support International’s basic and advanced training (and now teaches them), Karen Kleiman's clinical training in PMADs, and both of her Advanced Trainings. Katie was among the first women worldwide to earn certification in PMADs. EMDR Trauma Practitioner: Katie uses EMDR, a highly effective trauma therapy, for clients experiencing birth trauma, pregnancy or infant loss, infertility trauma, and other life traumas. Maternal Mental Health Advocate: Katie completed the Saybrook University Maternal Mental Health Advocate certification. Gottman Level 2 Trained Couples Therapist: Katie utilizes the Gottman Method’s research-based assessments and interventions to enhance relationships. Postpartum Support International: Katie is an educator and presenter for PSI’s Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders Training and Advanced Psychotherapy Program, sharing her expertise to train therapists nationwide in PMAD assessment and treatment.
