Getting to know Kathy Heller

Life can be messy and hard. My approach as a therapist is to come along side my clients and help them to sort through the messy and hard, ride the waves of the emotional experience and use their individual strengths to write the next chapter of their life story. Through a person-centered approach, I incorporate trauma-focused interventions utilizing CBT and DBT therapy. It is important to build trust and rapport in the therapeutic relationship and I believe I can do that in a genuine and kind way. I consider it a privilege to be a therapist.
