Getting to know Katie Connolly

I want to support you through times of change and uncertainty. That might look like changing patterns that no longer serve you. It may be supporting you through the change of becoming a parent. It may be supporting changes in identity or changes in relationships. Change comes with age. It comes with grief. It comes with joy and with heartbreak often at the same time. And it can be challenging to navigate but you don’t have to do it alone.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is warm, creative, and collaborative. I believe that more awareness brings more choice. That as we become more aware of our experience - our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and sensations – as well as the contexts we’re experiencing them in – our culture, community, family, partnership - we can develop more choice around how we engage.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I’m aware of how hard it can be to find the right therapist for you. I want to support you in getting the kind of support you want and need because to me, finding a good fit between you and your therapist is the most important first step. If we do feel like a good fit, I typically meet with clients for weekly 50 minute sessions in-person in Lafayette, CA or virtually throughout California and New Hampshire.
