I work primarily with teens and young adults navigating depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and major life changes. I welcome people who are feeling stuck or unsure how to move forward, as well as those grappling with questions of meaning and purpose. As a queer therapist, I especially value creating an affirming space for LGBTQ+ clients. I also enjoy working with immigrants who are navigating multiple cultures, transitions and loss, and systemic barriers. I work with both individuals and couples. My approach is warm, collaborative, and conversational. I believe it’s important to look at the bigger picture: not only what’s happening within you, but also what’s happening around you. I like to share interpretations and strategies, while prioritizing your feedback on what actually resonates and helps you. Together, we can tackle difficulties like avoidance, rumination, low self-worth, intellectualizing, and painful relationship patterns. We can also incorporate creative exercises if you're interested. I know art can sometimes convey what conversation can't.
