Katrina Kelley Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor Hello! I am Katrina, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, and the founder of Modern Insight Therapy. Modern Insight Therapy is a private practice created for individuals that enjoy a modern and effective approach to therapy. I created Modern Insight with you in mind, the hard-working individual who juggles everyday life and at times need a little more support. Therapy is about finding someone who matches your style. Someone who will listen with an open ear and remains non-judgmental, all while pushing you outside of your comfort zone. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the most important piece of therapy. I am here as your extra support. My clients tell me that I am trustworthy, easy to talk to, warm, approachable, and honest: this helps us build a great rapport to foster your desired outcomes in your life. I received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois Chicago, Masters in Clinical Mental Health from Roosevelt University, and completed the University of Michigan’s Sex Therapy Certification program. I have experience working with adolescents and adults in various settings, including schools, hospital emergency rooms, outpatient clinics, and the private sector. I utilize evidence-based skills, including DBT Dialectical Behavior Therapy and CBT Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I hope to build a relationship with you where you feel accepted, understood, and empowered to make the changes needed within your life. Together, we can work towards identifying healthy solutions to overcome life's challenges allowing you to be your true authentic self.
