Getting to know Katrina Silacz

As a clinician with experience in various therapeutic approaches, my goal is to support you in building resilience. Life can be challenging, and it is natural to feel weighed down by emotions that leave us feeling stuck or drained. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can share your concerns, feel validated in your experiences, and work toward developing helpful coping strategies. I am passionate about providing psychoeducation and walking alongside clients through life’s many transitions. Together, we can navigate the journey of healing (especially during times of uncertainty, grief, hopelessness, or stress) while fostering strength, clarity, and hope. I tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs. By combining evidence-based techniques with compassionate guidance, I help clients gain insight, and strengthen resilience, creating a space for meaningful growth and positive change. Likewise, my Christian faith inspires my work, but therapy is always tailored to your beliefs and comfort level. I am all inclusive.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I seek to listen and understand you first before anything else. We will work together to foster an environment of growth and healing.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A typical session with me is a safe, confidential space where we focus on what’s most important to you in the moment, as well as your longer-term goals. We often start by checking in on how you’ve been feeling since our last session, and then explore any challenges or patterns you’re noticing in your thoughts, emotions, and relationships. I practice talk therapy, and my approach is collaborative—I work with you to gain insight into recurring patterns, and develop tools to navigate life’s difficulties more effectively. Each session is guided by your needs, so whether you want to process emotions, tackle specific problems, or explore deeper self-understanding, we tailor our work together to fit you.

Katrina has been working with my son for a couple months now and I am so grateful for the work she has been doing. I have seen so much improvement in his ability to communicate his needs and connect with me. He feels so comfortable with her and is always asking when he gets to go back again.
Great focus on details and very understanding.
