Katya Sorsher, LMHC

Psychotherapist
FL
Hi, I’m Katya. If you’re considering therapy, you may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward-even if you’ve been trying to handle things on your own. If you’ve wondered whether therapy will actually help you, you’re in the right place. I see therapy as a practical, collaborative space where we focus on real progress, not perfection. My approach is strengths-based and grounded in tools that help you understand patterns that keep you stuck, manage emotions more effectively, and reconnect with what matters most to you. Therapy isn’t about erasing the past-it’s about building steadiness, clarity, and self-trust so you can move through life with more resilience. I often think of therapy like a climb: progress isn’t always about pushing harder. Sometimes it means pausing, reassessing, and finding your next steady hold. Whether you’re navigating a life transition, relationship challenges, or ongoing stress, my goal is to help you feel more grounded and supported as you move forward. I work with individuals and families in a collaborative way, meeting you where you are and creating a process that feels practical, respectful, and empowering.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
