Keala Zane, LMFT

Psychotherapist
HI
Hi everyone, my name is Keala Zane, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Hawaii. I work with individuals, including adolescents and young adults, specializing in anxiety, depression, stress, peer and family-related issues, and relationships. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques incorporated with a client-centered approach to address stressors and life challenges. My approach to therapy varies depending on each individual's needs. I frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques to begin addressing automatic negative thoughts and identifying ongoing challenges. I have found that my style of therapy works well with those dealing with life transition challenges, family-related stress, and cultural pressures. My goal is to support you in identifying challenges and barriers to your idea of success and making meaningful changes to live a more positive and fulfilling life. I also aim to help you feel better about yourself and develop the skills needed to confidently address life stressors as they arise. My communication style is collaborative, personable, and nonjudgmental. I am authentic and genuine and truly believe in my clients. I am honest, and I also believe it is important for us to laugh at silly things, smile, and celebrate accomplishments and milestones. My journey to becoming a therapist started at a very young age. My own mental health journey and those who supported me inspired me to become someone who supports others on their mental health journey. My hope as a therapist is to be an example that no matter the hardships you face in life, nothing can stop you from achieving your goals. I view goal setting as a collaborative and ongoing process.
