Getting to know Keila Shipman

I assist caregivers in learning new and healthy ways to parent children who have experienced difficulties in life. As a therapist, I am honored to work with children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced trauma. I am a graduate of Alabama State University (B.S. in Criminal Justice) and Auburn University-Montgomery (M.Ed, and Ed.S both in Counseling and Development) and owner of Keila Cares. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) as well as a Registered Play Therapist. I have had the privilege in helping to empower hundreds of children and their families.
