I am Keioni Betton, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Clinical Supervisor with experience providing evidence-based care in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings. I earned a Master of Arts in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Keiser University. I provide individual, family, and group therapy and have experience supporting clients with substance use concerns, trauma, adverse childhood experiences, family dynamics, and other behavioral health challenges. My clinical work includes biopsychosocial, ASAM, and LOCUS assessments; individualized treatment and discharge planning; crisis de-escalation; family education; and ongoing evaluation of clients' needs and progress. I have also worked with adolescents in therapeutic and educational environments. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client's circumstances and goals. I incorporate evidence-based methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and EMDR, to help clients better understand the connections among their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I strive to create a safe, respectful environment where clients feel supported as they process difficult experiences, strengthen coping skills, improve relationships, and work toward recovery. When appropriate, I involve family members and other supportive individuals to encourage lasting progress beyond treatment.
