I am, Keisha Johnson a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. I earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Francis Marion University and a Master's of Arts in Counseling and Psychological Services from Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, GA. I also earned a Master’s in Business Administration from Keller University. I have experience with Emotionally Behavior-Disordered children in her own agency for over 10 years. I have experience working with adults, adolescents, and children providing individual, group, and family counseling for psychiatric and dual diagnosis individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, PTSD, Trauma, just to name a few. My Approach as a counselor, I believe individuals need hope and to be empowered in order to begin the change process. My goals in counseling is to help clients discover their individual strengths, identify and cancel out their dysfunctional thought processes, and replace them with positive and realistic thinking. I believe many problems arise from poor communication patterns that have been learned in the home through the years. In order to bring healing and hope to individuals dealing with different mental health issues, and life stressors. I utilizes concepts from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy to help clients in the change process.
