Hello, I'm Dr. Keith Brown. I've been dedicated to the mental health field since 1997, working as a therapist, counselor, educator, trainer, and supervisor. My journey has taken me through various roles, including serving as the Director of the CMHC Program at South University in Cleveland, Ohio, and co-chairing the Hoarding Connection of Cuyahoga County. I've had the privilege of presenting at local, state, and national conventions, sharing insights on topics like Ethics and Supervision, and offering Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to fellow professionals. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Ursuline College in 1997, followed by a Master of Arts in Community Counseling from John Carroll University in 1999. In 2009, I completed my Doctoral Degree in the Counselor Education and Supervision Program at the University of Akron. Additionally, I completed the Mental Health Executive Leadership Program at Case Western Reserve University in 2009 and the Ladder to Leadership Program through the Robert Wood Foundation in 2010. I am a practicing Professional Clinical Counselor with a supervisory endorsement from the state of Ohio. In my practice, I utilize multiple therapeutic modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), integrating a holistic perspective with theoretical interventions. I firmly believe in a true partnership with clients and work hard at establishing a strong rapport for communication and an safe and secure working relationship.
