When you have stress or trauma in your life, it can feel overwhelming and life can unravel. Your children are acting out, your teen is being suspended or involved with law enforcement, or your younger child won’t stop misbehaving at school. These are all stressful family situations that can feel overwhelming to anyone. As a counselor, my passion is to bring healing to people who have been through traumatic or stressful experiences. In counseling, we can work together to resolve the stress in your life. I can help you strengthen your relationships so you can enjoy life. Imagine enjoying family gatherings instead of dreading them. You don’t have to fear phone calls from school forever. In counseling, I use a variety of techniques including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and others. I am a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia (LPC012361). I earned my Master’s in Counseling from Seton Hall University and my undergraduate degree from Michigan State. Prior to counseling, I was a high school teacher for 11 years. In my free time, I enjoy running, playing sports, spending time with my family, and traveling.
