Getting to know Keity Brito

Transforming Lives, One Honest Conversation at a Time Raised in Miami, FL, I began my psychology career as an undergraduate at Florida International University. (I'm fluent in Español.) While there, I earned membership in both Psi Chi honor societies and participated in Professor Berry's group therapy program. During my undergraduate studies, I primarily worked with adults at G&G Healthcare Services Treatment Center, a nationally recognized drug and alcohol rehab and treatment center with a comprehensive and integrated Mind-Body-Spirit approach to treating addictions and co-occurring disorders. I completed my Master's in Social Work at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. During and after my graduate studies, I was fortunate to work with diverse populations from all walks of life. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, behavioral challenges, academic and occupational stressors, and life transitions. Throughout my personal and professional life, I often speak of impermanence—I firmly believe that we can work toward different things and are not tied to one path. After graduate school and earning my Master’s in Social Work, I became curious about SQL and coding; I am now skilled in utilizing data analytics, including SQL, Azure, and SFTP connections, along with expertise in billing systems structure and customer service to effectively analyze and communicate insights that improve healthcare operations, increase efficiency, and reduce costs. This is important because, as people, we can recreate ourselves and continue to learn—be curious. I am grateful for each day and try to be mindful of each moment because of life’s impermanence. With that said, we are the sum total of our experiences. Those experiences—be they positive or negative—make us the person we are at any given point in our lives.
